Formula One Grand Prix to bring in $100 million in tourism revenue for Singapore

According to the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), the Formula One Grand Prix Race is expected to bring in $100 million in revenue receipts for the tourism industry.

Chairman of STB quoted that Formula One is the third most watched sporting events in the world, after the Olympics and the World Cup.

Thus, the Singapore Formula One Grand Prix is expected to be attended annually by over 80,000 spectators from all over the world. This would bring in revenues also for the hotel, retail, F&B and transportation industries.
